Yet Anoyher Day…

Softly towards the end of the day, as the sunshine faded away,
I asked myself: was the day good enough?
Was it perfect?
Yes, just good enough came the reply.
There was still much left to be desired.
Lots of promises made, many of them left unfulfilled,
Exchanged huge laughter, yet a feeling of loneliness from within,
At times whished to fly into the open inaccessible sky, into the
blue-black freedom of space;
But, a sense of belonging to my soil, a duty to cheer my people
pulled my back.
Nevertheless, as another day draws to a finish,
As I sail into a new dawn, give me the strength to look at the ocean and
not the wave; the will to fight till the end and not to fall;
the passion to live and not just to exist;
May the evil get burnt with the bonfire of the day and the light of
the new dawn bring with itself a ray of hope into the despaired World.
Let no soul starve, as when hunger strikes it feels terrible.
May the world be spared with good health and happiness for the
coming day.
For, tomorrow is yet another day,
A new ray of hope!
